Connect your own Stripe account to take deposits, installments and refunds through Samba. The money goes straight into your Stripe account. Samba never holds it, and never stores a Stripe key or password.
Before you start
You need a live Stripe account. A test-mode account is refused.
You need the Owner, Admin or Manager role. Other team members can see the connection but cannot change it.
Connect Stripe
Go to Settings → Connect Stripe.
Click Connect with Stripe. The page lists every permission Samba asks for, and why. You are sent to Stripe, which shows the same list.
Review the list and approve. Finish within 10 minutes, signed in to Samba as the same person who started.
Stripe sends you back to Samba. The Current connection card now shows your account ID, Live mode and the status Connected.
This is not how you pay Samba. Samba's own fees are billed separately. See How Samba's pricing works.
What happens next
You can take payments. Each booking is charged in its own currency through this account.
The first time you connect a live account, Samba also switches on emails to your customers. See Why can't I message my customers yet?

Nothing was saved, and any existing connection is unchanged. Click Connect with Stripe and go through the approval again.

Samba can create and refund charges, save payment methods and customers, read your account details, events and disputes, and register the domains Apple Pay and Google Pay need. Stripe shows the full list before you approve.

Click Reconnect on the Connect Stripe page and approve with the other account. You do not need to disconnect first. Samba removes its access to the previous account. If you had added checkout domains for your own website, add them again.

Disconnect removes Samba's access to your Stripe account, along with your wallet settings and checkout domains. Your Stripe account itself is untouched. Samba cannot charge travelers for your workspace until you connect again.
