A banner at the top of every page means your Stripe connection needs attention. A red banner means payments are failing right now. A blue banner means payments still work and Samba needs a newer permission. Both are fixed the same way: click Reconnect and approve on Stripe.
How to reconnect
Click Re-verify now (red banner) or Reconnect (blue banner), or go to Settings → Connect Stripe.
Click Reconnect.
Approve on Stripe with the same Stripe account. You come back to Samba and the banner is gone.
Reconnecting the same account keeps your wallet settings and checkout domains. You need the Owner, Admin or Manager role.

Stripe rejected Samba's access to your account. This happens, for example, when Samba is removed from your Stripe dashboard.
Until you reconnect:
card payments, installments and refunds fail;
when you edit a confirmed booking, you cannot collect the difference by payment link.
Only a successful reconnect clears the banner. Then retry any payment that failed in the meantime. See When an installment fails.

Your connection works and payments are unaffected. You connected before Samba started asking Stripe for a newer permission, and Stripe does not add it on its own. Reconnect when convenient to unlock the feature that needs it.

Your connection is missing a permission the wallets need. Click Reconnect and approve. The toggle then becomes available. See Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Nothing changed. The usual causes:
You closed the Stripe window or did not approve.
More than 10 minutes passed, or a different team member finished the approval.
You approved a test-mode Stripe account. Samba only accepts live accounts.
Click Reconnect and go through it again.
