This guide walks you from a new account to your first paid booking. There are seven stages. Each one is short here and links to the full how-to.
Stage | Where |
1. Create your workspace | The sign-up guide |
2. Connect Stripe | Settings → Connect Stripe |
3. Activate your workspace | The banner at the top of the app |
4. Create and price an experience | Settings → Experiences |
5. Add departures | Calendar & Scheduling → Manage schedule |
6. Publish | The experience's page menu |
7. Share it and take a booking | Settings → Website widgets |
Most of setup happens in Settings. These are the three pages you will use:
1. Create your workspace
Sign up, then answer three short screens about your business. The last one creates your workspace and makes you its owner. Choose your country and currency with care: they cannot be changed afterwards.
Your workspace is not empty when you arrive. It already holds cancellation policies, payment plan templates, a task library and a draft sample trip.
2. Connect Stripe
Samba charges travelers through your own Stripe account, so the money goes straight to you. A banner at the top of every page reminds you until Stripe is connected.
Connect a live Stripe account, not a test one. Until you do, travelers cannot pay by card and Samba sends no emails to your customers.
3. Activate your workspace
Once Stripe is connected, the banner changes to Activate your workspace. The owner adds a card and a billing address. There is no trial and nothing to pay at that moment.
You can build everything before activating. You need to activate before you can publish an experience, create a booking, or accept a booking request.
4. Create and price an experience
An experience is a trip or activity you sell. Go to Settings → Experiences and select New Experience.
You first choose its type: Multi-day tour or Day tour / activity. The type is permanent and decides how you price it. Multi-day tours are priced with packages. Day tours are priced per participant type, or by party size.
Then fill in the description, cover image, meeting point and the rest from the editor.

5. Add departures
A departure is a date travelers can book. Open Calendar & Scheduling, select Manage schedule, then pick your experience.
Add single dates one at a time, or set a recurring schedule that creates departures for you (daily, weekly or monthly).
6. Publish
An experience starts as a Draft, which only your team can see. Publish is in the menu on the experience's page. Publishing makes it public straight away.
Samba checks a short list of required items first: title, duration, maximum group size, description, pricing, a meeting point, and at least one availability option (fixed departures or on-request) switched on. If something is missing, a notice tells you what.
7. Share it and take your first booking
A published experience has its own page on your Samba booking site. Copy a link to it from Settings → Website widgets, or embed a booking widget on your own website.
