Preview your trip page and booking flow

See your trip page, checkout and traveler portal as a traveler would, before you save or publish, without creating a booking.

The live preview shows what a traveler would see: your trip page, the first two checkout steps and the traveler portal. It works on drafts, and it never creates a booking or charges a card.

Open the preview

  1. Go to Settings → Experiences and open the experience.

  2. In the Live preview bar, click Trip page, Booking, Payment or Traveler portal.

The Live preview bar with its four buttons
  3. The preview opens full screen. Use the tabs at the top to move between the four views.

  4. Click the × to go back. Your form is untouched: opening a preview saves nothing.

What each tab shows

Tab

Shows

Trip page

Your public trip page, with a sample upcoming departure if you sell fixed dates.

Booking

The first checkout step, for a sample party of at least two travelers.

Payment

The second checkout step, with your real prices, add-ons, payment schedule and cancellation policy.

Traveler portal

The portal for a sample confirmed booking, with the deposit paid if the experience uses a payment plan.

Preview unsaved changes

On the Edit page, the preview shows your form as it is right now, including changes and photos you have not saved. On the view page, it shows the saved experience.

The preview is a snapshot taken when you open it. It does not update as you type. Close it and open it again to see later edits.

A preview of unsaved changes expires 30 minutes after you open it, and only you can load it. If you see "Preview expired", close the preview and open it again.

What happens next

  • The preview is for looking only. You can scroll, but clicks and typing do nothing.

  • When everything looks right, publish the experience.

Why do the Booking, Payment and Traveler portal tabs show a message instead of a preview?

There is nothing to book yet. Add at least one package (multi-day tour) or participant type (day tour), and turn on fixed departures or on-request booking. The message names what is missing. The Trip page tab still works.

Why does the Payment tab show a placeholder instead of the card form?

Your workspace is not connected to Stripe yet. See Connecting Stripe.

My experience only takes booking requests. What do I see?

The Booking and Payment tabs preview the request flow, with a proposed date instead of a fixed departure.
