Every published experience has a public trip page. You write its content as reorderable blocks. Samba adds the prices, the dates and the booking buttons for you.
Add your content
Go to Settings → Experiences, open the experience, and click Edit.
Open the Content tab.
Under Essentials, add a Cover image and a Description. The description is required to publish.
Under Content blocks, click Add Content block and pick a block.
Fill in the block, then drag the blocks into the order you want. You can use the same block type more than once.
Add a Practical info block and fill in the meeting point. It is required to publish.
Click Save changes.
The Content tab shows a preview of your blocks as travelers will see them. To check the whole page and the booking flow, use the live preview.
The blocks you can use
Group | Blocks |
Story | Highlights, Rich text, Itinerary, Itinerary map, Inclusions & exclusions, Practical info, Accommodation, Guides, FAQ |
Media and proof | Gallery (grid or carousel), Video, Testimonial, Stats strip |
Filled in by Samba | Cancellation policy shows the policy that applies to the experience. Post-booking tasks shows the information you collect from travelers. You only choose where they go. |
Set the web address and search settings
On the General tab, the Marketing section holds the URL slug, Meta title and Meta description.
Samba builds the slug from the title when you create the experience. You can change it.
Changing the slug is safe. Old links forward to the new address, and keep any tracking tags or discount codes they carried.
Leave Meta title blank to use "your trip title - your workspace name".
Share the page
Open the Actions menu on the experience:
Copy public link works at any time, so you can prepare links before launch. The link shows a "not found" page until the experience is published.
Open live page appears once the experience is published.
What travelers see
Multi-day tour | Day tour | |
Dates | A list of bookable departures | An availability calendar, however far ahead your dates are |
They choose | A package | Participant types, and a pickup point if you have any |
Sold-out dates | Hidden | Shown, marked as sold out |
Canceled and past dates are hidden, and so are dates too close to departure to book. A multi-day departure with 5 seats or fewer left is flagged as low availability.
The page shows in the traveler's language, among the languages your workspace has enabled.
What does the page show when I have no upcoming dates?
What does the page show when I have no upcoming dates?
If you take booking requests, travelers see an "available on request" card and the booking button opens the request form. If you don't, the page says "No upcoming dates". When you have both dates and requests, travelers see your dates plus a link to request a private departure.
Why does Samba refuse my new URL slug?
Why does Samba refuse my new URL slug?
Each slug must be unique in your workspace. That includes old slugs that still forward to another experience, so one trip cannot take over another trip's old links.
What happens to my links when I unpublish?
What happens to my links when I unpublish?
The page and its old addresses show a "not found" page until you publish again. The forwarding is kept, so everything works again once you republish.
