Sell your trips on GetYourGuide

Connect GetYourGuide to Samba and list a trip, so GetYourGuide sells your live availability and bookings land in Samba.

Connect GetYourGuide (GYG) once, then list the trips you want to sell there. GetYourGuide reads your live availability from Samba, and its bookings arrive in Samba already confirmed. It works on every plan.

Before you start

  • You need a GetYourGuide supplier account and access to its Supplier Portal.

  • You need the Owner, Admin or Manager role in Samba.

Connect GetYourGuide

  1. Go to Settings → Channels and click Connect GetYourGuide. Samba creates a supplier code.

The Manage Channels page with the Connect GetYourGuide button outlined
  2. In the GYG Supplier Portal, choose Samba as your reservation system and enter that code.

  3. Wait for GetYourGuide to fetch your products. The connection then changes from Pending to Active on its own. There is no activate button in Samba.

List a trip

  1. Open the experience and click List on GetYourGuide. The button shows once GetYourGuide is connected, on any experience that is not archived and still has something unlisted.

  2. Choose what to list. It depends on the experience:

    • Day tour — The experience. Match each passenger type to one GetYourGuide ticket category, or leave it Not listed. Map at least one, and use each category once.

    • Multi-day trip — One package per listing, sold per person. Create one listing per package you want to sell.

    • Private or group product — The whole trip as one group booking. It needs a maximum group size. A trip priced by party size is always listed this way, and you choose which party price GetYourGuide advertises.

  3. Enter the destination city and country. Write the city in English ("Lisbon", not "Lisboa") so GetYourGuide can match it.

  4. Choose price sync. On: Samba sends your price, travelers pay the same as on your site, and GetYourGuide takes its commission from your payout. Off: you set prices yourself in the Supplier Portal.

  5. Create the listing, then create or map the matching option in the GYG Supplier Portal. Until you do, Settings → Channels shows the listing as "waiting for GYG mapping". That is expected, not an error.

GetYourGuide always receives your regular price. A price you set for one specific departure applies on your own site only.
