Share a booking link

Build a plain link to a trip, a calendar or a checkout for emails, social bios and QR codes. No website needed.

A booking link is a plain web address you can put in an email, a social bio or a QR code. It opens on your own Samba booking site, with your logo and colors, so you do not need a website.

Build a link

  1. Go to Settings → Website widgets. The page opens on the Links tab.

  2. Pick what the link opens.

The row of link types: Experience page, All experiences, Folder, Upcoming departures, Calendar, Booking flow, Traveler portal
  3. Pick the Experience, Folder or departure the link needs. Only published experiences are listed. Until you pick, no link is shown.

The Settings card with an experience picked, plus On click open, Language and Auto-apply discount code
  4. Optionally set a Language and an Auto-apply discount code.

  5. Under Your link, click Copy link. Use Open in a new tab to check it first.

Upcoming departures and Calendar links show the same live widget you could embed on a website. Clicking a date goes straight to checkout in the same tab.

A Booking flow link only offers departures that can be booked right now: upcoming, with seats left, and before your booking cutoff.

What happens next

  • If you unpublish or archive the experience, Experience page, Calendar and Upcoming departures links stop working. Replace them wherever you shared them.

  • If the discount code expires or reaches its limit, the link still works. The traveler pays full price and sees no error.

Which discount codes can I attach?

Codes that are valid right now and apply to everything or to the experience you picked. For a Booking flow link, a code limited to certain departures is only offered if it covers the departure you picked. Changing the link type, experience or departure clears a code that no longer fits. Traveler portal links take no code. See Creating discount codes.

Which language will the page open in?

Left on Auto, the page follows the visitor's browser. If you pick a language, the link opens in it and carries it into checkout. You can pick any language enabled on your workspace.
