Set up your workspace

Sign up for Samba and create your workspace in three short screens. What each one asks, and what cannot be changed later.

Your workspace is your business's account on Samba. You create it right after signing up, in three short screens, and you become its owner. No card is needed at this point.

If a teammate invited you, you skip all of this: accepting the invitation takes you into their workspace.

What happens

Email and password

You verify your email once your workspace is created.

Sign up with Google

Google fills in your name and email, and your email counts as verified. You still choose a password.

Continue with Google on the login page only signs you in to an account that already exists. If you are new, use Sign up with Google.

Create your workspace

  1. On Set up your workspace, enter your business name, website, team size, country, timezone and base currency, then select Create Workspace.

The first setup screen with the Country and Base currency fields outlined

Choosing a country fills in its currency, and the timezone comes from your browser. Check both before you continue.

  2. Answer a few questions about your business: years in business, annual revenue, the kinds of activities you run, and how you heard about Samba.

  3. Tell us how you run your business today: the booking software and sales channels you use, if any. Submitting this screen creates your workspace.

Country and currency cannot be changed after setup. Pick the country your business is registered in and the currency you charge travelers in.

Nothing is saved until you submit the third screen. If you leave before then, you start again from the first screen on your next visit.

What happens next

Can I create a second workspace?

Yes. Open your profile page, go to Workspaces, and select Create new workspace. It goes through the same three screens and has its own activation, billing and Stripe connection.

Which countries can I choose?

The list holds the countries where Stripe offers a full account, because Samba takes payments through your own Stripe account.
