Crew Management lets you track your operational staff — guides, drivers, and the like — and assign them to your departures. It is off by default and is included in Samba at no extra cost.
Before you start
Only an Owner or Admin can switch Crew Management on or off. A Manager can edit the other workspace settings but does not see this one.
Switch it on
Go to Settings → General.
Scroll to the Crew Management section and switch on Enable crew management.
Select Save changes.
A Crew management group appears in your Settings sidebar, with Roles, Members, and Task templates.
What happens next
Set things up in this order — each step depends on the one before it:
Optionally, give your crew tasks for each departure.
Your crew then see their own assignments and tasks in their schedule.
What happens if I switch Crew Management off again?
What happens if I switch Crew Management off again?
Every crew page is hidden and crew notifications stop. Nothing is deleted: switch it back on and your roles, members, assignments, and tasks are all still there.
While it is off, new departures get no crew slots or tasks, and canceling a departure leaves its crew records untouched.
