Crew tasks are the jobs your crew must do around a departure: check the equipment, confirm the restaurant, hand in the cash box. You write each one once as a task template, attach it to an experience, and every departure gets its own copy with a due date.
Before you start
Crew Management is on and you have at least one crew role.
Create a task template
Go to Settings → Crew management → Task templates and select New crew task template.
Enter a Title and, optionally, a Description. The description is shown to whoever gets the task.
Under Assigned role, choose the role that should do it. Leave it on Anyone for a task you will hand out yourself.
Under Due date, set the Offset — a number of days, hours, or minutes — and, under Relative to, choose Before departure starts or After departure ends. The line below confirms the result in words.
Select Create.
A due date in days falls due at the end of that day. Hours and minutes are exact.
Attach it to an experience
Go to Settings → Experiences, edit the experience, and open its Crew tab.
Under Crew tasks, select Add crew task and choose the template under Task.
Select Save changes.
New departures get the task from now on. For departures that already exist, apply the change to upcoming departures.
What happens next
Manage the tasks on a single departure: add one-off tasks, reassign, or change a due date.
Crew find their tasks under Tasks and are reminded when one is due within 3 days.
You are notified when a task goes overdue. See Crew notifications.
I edited a template. Why didn't the tasks on my departures change?

Each task copies the template's text when it is created. To refresh pending tasks, apply the change to upcoming departures.
Why can't I delete a task template?
Why can't I delete a task template?
It is attached to an experience. Archive it instead: it is detached from every experience at once, so new departures stop getting it. Tasks already on departures stay.
