You can move a departure at any time. Its bookings move with it, and you can email the travelers the old and new dates as you save.
Move the departure
Open the departure from Calendar & Scheduling, then select Actions → Edit.
Change Start at and End at.
If the departure has confirmed bookings, leave Email travelers about the new date or time ticked. Untick it if you have already agreed the change with them.
Select Save changes.
For a departure with no bookings yet, there is a shortcut: Edit times in the experience's list under Manage schedule. It is locked once the departure has a confirmed booking or is canceled.
What happens next
Every booking stays attached to the departure, at the price already paid.
With the box ticked, each traveler with a confirmed booking gets an email showing the date they had and the date they now have, in your workspace's time zone. Nothing is sent if you only changed the capacity or status. GetYourGuide travelers are not emailed by Samba.
Crew assigned to the departure are emailed the old and new dates, and their task due dates shift with it. See Staff departures with crew.
A departure that came from a recurring schedule stops following it. It shows as Recurring · edited, the schedule leaves it alone from then on, and the original time slot is not filled again.
