Each experience has its own scheduling settings. They decide whether travelers book your published dates, request their own, or both, and how close to the start they can still book.
Change the settings
Go to Calendar & Scheduling → Manage schedule and select the experience.
In Settings, set the Default departure times (1). The Start time is filled in on every new departure, recurring schedule and accepted booking request. Multi-day trips also have an End time: the hour the trip finishes on its last day.
Under Fixed departures (2), keep the toggle on to sell the dates you publish. Set the Booking cutoff: how long before the start booking closes. Enter 0 for no cutoff.
Optionally set a Min party size, the smallest group you accept. It can be no larger than the experience's maximum group size.
Under On-request departures (3), turn the toggle on to let travelers propose their own dates. It has its own minimum party size and cutoff.
Select Save settings.
Mode | Cutoff when you start |
Fixed departures, multi-day trip | 1 day |
Fixed departures, day tour | 2 hours |
On-request departures | 3 days |
At least one of the two modes must be on before you can publish the experience. See Why can't I publish my experience?
What happens next
Once a fixed departure is inside its cutoff, travelers can no longer book it. A requested date inside the on-request cutoff is refused.
A new start time applies to departures you add from now on. Departures already on the calendar keep their times.
With on-request turned on, requests arrive under Booking Requests. See How booking requests work.
